My motivation:
I really believe that while we all have different lives, customs, beliefs, religions, thoughts, ways, etc., we really are all the same at the core. All people have the same basic needs and wants and it is our responsibility as individuals to do what we can to help those around us - whether in our backyard our thousands of miles away.

Occupation: President of small NGO; Former Evaluation Researcher
Biography: I am a mother of two small children who keep me very busy! I have worked and volunteered in a number of areas including evaluation research, education, women's issues, criminal justice, design, and retail.
I currently operate a small charity based in Calgary. Before that, I worked as a program evaluator/researcher in health (HIV/AIDS; Hepatitis C; prenatal nutrition), early childhood education and substance use/abuse.
